The Weekend is Almost Upon Us
Right, firstly, my apologies for neglecting my duties for a week or so. I’ve had to go back to rehab to wean myself off Football Manager 2007 like some kind of sheepskin coat wearing Amy Winehouse. I’m not cured, but I’ve managed to stop the withdrawal symptoms for a few minutes to write this.
So, its Thursday, and I thought I’d better give you the heads up on whats going down this weekend, so you’ve got time to sort your emmah-effin plans out.
SATURDAY: The last day before the ban, comes the perfect way to beat those blues, with The Big Smoke, a chilled out day at The Gladstone on Lewes Road, from the afternoon to evening, with food, drink, and music courtesy of DJ’s Tyni, 184, Robinson Caruso, and others… Its free to get in, so come tar your lungs up in public one last time.
SUNDAY: Fundraiser for the Brighton Hip-Hop Festival at the Concorde 2, featuring live performances from Stig & Dr Syntax, The Benjamins, Metropolis from Foreign Beggars, Enlish, and many more. MONDAY: Clipse are in town performing at the Ocean Rooms, with support from Enlish and my good self, as well as Flip Tha Skript… its gonna be a good one, with my sources informing me that the other Clipse shows around the country so far have been rowdy…
Anyway, I gots ta scoot otherwise I’m gonna be late for my day job… And for you office bods, my (very sad) minesweeper record on expert is now 120 seconds. Beat that…
