Another sore head can mean only one thing. Another night out. And feeling as flaky as I do, it can only mean Beer & Rap… Featuring the heavyweights that are Taskforce alongside Fatty and Speccy themselves, Stig and Syntax, it was always guaranteed to be a big one. With my good man Snuff down from the Smoke, things were obviously going to get out of hand, and another session till 7 in the morning saw that happen. The Concorde was packed, the drinks were not too extortionate, and the the music as always at a Brap night was first rate. A top set from Stig and Synners saw some rawkus response from the assembled alcoholics, and all the big numbers from those two were rattled off. I’m sure I’m not the only one looking forward to Stig’s Brain Dead Lunatic 12” feat. RA the Rugged Man. I’ve heard it, and goddamn does that get the Fantana seal of Approval. Ya heard?
Newborn always runs a tight ship, and Friday’s night was no exception. Still no contenders to Beer & Rap’s crown as king of the hip-hop nights down here in Boogie Down Brighton, and it can only be a short while till the Brand goes global.
A’way - I’ve been hitting the hangover cures hard to recover, and I don’t mean the Alka-Seltzer or Resolve… I mean the Domino’s pizza and PS3… That shit obviously didn’t work properly as I still passed out during Match of the Day…
Anyway - props to Snuff for dropping down, big love to G-Petz getting back from the warzone despite being held by Israeli forces for some time, and shouts to my brother for making it out…
