Slipjam B
Although the Liverpool Chelsea Champions League encounter kept some people away, The Hope was still buzzing last night as The Benjamins rolled into town. Or rolled out of bed - either way, it was that Slipjam time again. The first tuesday of the month, and a chance to catch Koaste and Longusto heating up the mics. Hooked up with The Waxheds who produced my latest release Ill Padrino/Menace II Sobriety who had made it down for the party. Cue plenty of booze, and plenty of beats, and ending up in a heavily inebriated state partying back at Illwood Heights till about 4am… The neighbours must love me…

Koaste kicks it off…

Koaste & Enlish: Dem Lethal Weapon Boyz

D’Angelo Saxon: the white Sam Jackson

Enlish: King of Jordan

The Benjamins: Slugs & Longusto

The Waxheds: Back in Brighton
Anyway… the show went well. Good chance to perform some new material, especially the 12” which drops soon on Smashing Records… Mad props to Lonshanks - the set was tight! Vecks for stepping up on Major, Rowdy Ricky Piper for handling the decks, Enlish, and Karl and Richie for putting it all on… Next month sees the return of Mr J and HP, so if you’re in Brighton the first tuesday of June, then get down The Hope! Holla!
